Ten Dogmas of Science

  1. The Universe is like a machine.
  2. The Universe is unconscious.
  3. The laws of nature never change forever.
  4. Total amount of matter and energy is always the same (not counting the big bang)
  5. Evolution is random.
  6. Biological heredity is material.
  7. The brain stores information as structure.
  8. Mind is inside head as brain activity.
  9. Psychic phenomena are impossible (because mind is inside head).
  10. Mechanistic medicine is the only one that works.
