A computer simulation of double-slit wave interference as the difference in the images with and without a magnetic toroid between the slits which shifts the frequency phase between the two slit beams by 1/2 wavelength.


The Aharonov-Bohm effect and Berry phase describe remarkable aspects of quantum mechanics, which are intrinsic to the nonlocality, geometry and topology of physical systems. They play a fundamental part of our contemporary understanding of quantum physics and the effects of electromagnetic, gauge and other fields on all quantum systems.
