Dex3D is a rare example of clear, pristine matrix algebra applied directly to visual 3D arrays. It is written in Microsoft Visual Basic® 6.0, a programming environment distributed by Microsoft prior to .Net.

The 3D code library of functions are matrix algebra transforms as graphical rendering functions are directly represented in efficient arrays. A complete project compiles, error free, creating a Windows executable. The Dex3D project has zero dependencies on other registered components, save the run-time environment for VB 6 is supported or installed on the run-time Windows system.

The code is open-source.
